It was our first time going into the Pilanesberg reserve and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Although it's not the wisest thing driving a Chev Sedan across the park, the roads were pretty decent.
We were a bit bummed that we didn't get to see any carnivores but we managed to get on camera 3 out of the 5 Big Five which is pretty good for a first time visit. I managed to get back from the repairs our Sony Alpha A-230 and used a 70-300mm lens which was a life-saver eventhough some of the pics required much longer lens to really get up close. Overall, It was a memorable day and we can't wait to come back and capture the rest of the Big Two: Lion and Cheetah.
